It makes sense for them to add trivial features, but it would be unwise to put required pseye functionality in any core games.
The reason the original kinect didn't really make it into many "core" experiences was due to limited tech AND fragmentation. The pseye has both of those problems going for it. The one good thing it has going for it is the fact that the kinect is being pushed so hard by Microsoft. It may be able to piggyback on some of that support.
Problem is, not only will devs have to worry about adding features that can't be used by all ps4 owners, they also have to choose whether they want to support remote play or the camera. In my opinion it sounds like a bunch of confusion/fragmentation that will prevent the pseye from reaching its full potential.
So do you want to save money or a better experience?Sony used their money to get the best graphics, MS used theirs to possibly change gaming, if kinect does revolutionize how we play games, saving $40 for a weaker/ lack luster experience isnt really the best option, unless you only really care about graphics, but xbox one will have good graphics too, how far behind ps4 we dont know, but from everything Ive seen xbox is right up their with it, if it takes years for ps4 power to be realized, wouldnt it be a better option to get an xbox since imo they have better games announced so far, and in the future once ps4 power comes out, and they bring better games, sell the xbox and buy a ps4 since the xbox is more, you should be able to get enough back for a ps4. it will also give you a chance to use the kinect, and decide if it really changes anything, because vids cant really give the true feeling.
IDk I just dont get why everybody is talking about getting launch ps4 just tell everybody to wait for the power and games. I think it would make more sense to get an xbox since the first year looks to be better with it, unless you are a fanboy, hate MS (for whatever reason), or just dont have the extra $100. because if you decide to sell it, then you can grab a ps4 without having to spend much if anything (sell it, not trade it to gamestop)

yea, i aint inviting that shyt into my home. it'll only be a matter of time before such devices are mandatory for every house. hopefully i'll have been long dead before that happens.

No (not like the the 2.0 can (CAN) but I think the Wii and kinect did in their own way), because they scaled it down to save money. Kinect 1.0 was most likely a test run, but I as well as you know that its not much that can be said or showed with the xbox to make you go

The Kinect is NEVER gonna change core gaming. You can't do without first getting rid of the controller. Core gamers aren't gonna choose motion controls over comfy couch gaming with a controller. The Kinect/PS Camera are only gonna be useful for Entertainment/Social/OS Features, causal party games, & trivial features in Core Games. Y'all sound delusional everytime y'all say that shyt.
Also, the PS Camera doesn't have to be as good as the new Kinect. It just has to be a good, solid device. Most folks won't care.

Just traded in my kinect today, biggest waste of money I ever experienced on the 360.
Just bought it for my girl for the dancing games, but now she's the ex so that thing had to go. Got $85 with some of the games for the trade in though, put that to the Ps4.

It can change Core gaming, by mixing the controller with the kinect while sitting on their comfy couch...will it idk, but change is just that..it has already started
