How. So he can see how unsupportive black people are. Im not Jordan's financial advisor or nothing but from the outside looking in, it seems like most of his profits come from Jordan brand shoes and his ownership with the hornets. Now what black own basketball organization is there and if he stated one nikkas would still play for and watch the nba religiously. nikkas only really cop Jordan's for retros which are Nike shoes that he can't take the design with him so why would he do that?

Black people need 2 stop acting like Jordan they daddy and let the man live his life

Yeah we really unsupportive when we camp out and buy his shoes for decades :mjpls:

We really unsupportive when we pay for his basketball camps :mjpls:

Stick to getting disrespected in white banks and white grocery stores and staying quiet then all of a sudden wanna criticize when its Black owned.

Keep c00ning for the coli

nikkas are the reason I refuse to support anything Jordan. That has nothing to do with this thread, but the nikkas that are in this thread so far is why the Jordan brand is so fukkin cringe-worthy at this point

its crazy people like jordan dont realize how much power they truly have. i know they say alot are scared something will happen to them but despite being older than all of us i'm convinced people like jordan literally are naive and dont realize how drastically this would improve things for Black people.

More branches of Black banks would open up...alot of them are in specific states or cities...so now if this becomes a habit and more and more BLack people with power are donating money to them they can afford to open businesses all over the country like Bank of America...

Then(if they dont get on some dumb shyt and hire every race) more young Black men and young Black women would be hired since its Black owned and obviously Black businesses employ the most Black people. Much more people would be able to get personal loans/auto loans/etc.

It took Jordan 30 years to speak on black issues,no need to try to squeeze water from a stone killer mike:mjlol:

This will likely get attention with jordans name attached which was probaly the real incentive....what he said about secured credit card sounds like it could he a good thing....personally i like my stash spot in the crib and my pocket, this banks will sell you out quick if the feds came callin.

Exaggeration, he got in a good position and pulled a few in with him.

Thats a half measure that is temporary at best.

Crumbs on the large scale.

Bullshyt :russ::mjlol::bryan:

He has pulled a lot with him in the NBA, opening up front office and coaching opportunities to blacks and in Nike opening up executive leadership positions to blacks, multiple blacks.

That isn't a half measure, that is building a beachead of advancement for all blacks, whether you like it or not, and its the most he can do given that he isn't a business titan himself.

How is is temporary or less longer lasting that if he made a competiting shoe company and that went out of business. Its clear you really are reaching to try to put down what he is actually doing.

How rich do you think MJ is? He isn't Buffet, Gates, Jobs/Cook, Musk, Walton, and etc. He isn't a industrial powerhouse, like Magic he is a athlete who made excellent investments but he isn't capable of giving people a whole loaf of bread or the whole pie, he is doing what is in his power to do.

Yet here you are shytting on him, as if he is doing nothing. Its a strange mindset of a crab to be like this. I'll never understand it.

Im not shytting on him. Im just saying the truth.

That specific move of his that you said that I quoted in the first place is a half measure.

Do not move the goal posts.

U sound dumb as fukk. First off blacks arent the only ones that buying his shoes and going to camps.

Secondly when have i ever criticized something black owned?? I said if he left nike and made his own shyt allot of people won't buy them the same way they don't buy team Jordan shoes, cp3s, melos etc... People mostly cop Jordan's for retros those are Nike shoes that he can't take with him. Shaq and Marbury tried they exact thing that yall are talking about and a nikka would get clowned quick in most circles for wearing them and that's fact so stop with the Im c00ning talk I'm just giving you the reality of the situation. If Mike started his own basketball league and withdrew from the nba you have 2 be a fool 2 think that the top players would just follow him, maybe when they washed up but not for the nba and everyone would still watch the top players in the nba that's fact

When you are ready for realistic things and not something you heard white people tell you then we can talk.

U think i give a damn bout what white people tell me. I'm telling you what i see from my eyes through society. Black people don't respect themselves and that no c00ning because i love black people with everything in me but i call a spade a spade

Ok

Yet that has nothing to do with what I am talking about.

We are on the topic of money. You are just going off into something else.

I said in my initial post that what i was saying would be better for another thread. Yes its off topic but it relates 2 this 2 me because i personally don't see the power of the black dollar ever happening in America
