problem is, you folks don't know what art is :rudy:

you prolly don't even like rap like that :patrice: or if you do, you on that backpackers shyt :mjlol:

art can be uplifting, it can be positive, but it's only negative if you let it be, and only dumb people are affected by art in a negative way :childplease:full stop

or you wanna tell me that reason why they commit crimes is cuz they are all that DUMB to be affected by what ignant rappers say in their songs :usure:I don't think anyone sane really believes that. so majority of black kids are dumb and that's why they're emulating these rappers lifestyles ?

claiming that hip hop is the reason youth is fukked up is same as claiming that video games are the reasons ppl shoot up the schools n shyt :beli:

exactly. This vid actually furthers our point little does OP know. Killer Mike says 2-3 times how hiphop began as "an alternate to violence". Todays rap( its not "hiphop" anymore) does nothing but promote violence, amongst many other destructive lifestyle habits. He also made sure to keep differentiating "rap" & "hip hop". So yea, KM is right. "Hiphop" is the uplifting and motivating alternative to violence, while todays violent and hate-filled "rap" encourages, promotes and glorifies it. Thanks for the vid OP

nah, listen again, he called u dumb in first sentence :lolbron:

lol and then proceeded to define HIPHOP as an "alternate to violence" This poison today is "rap". Thats why he made damn sure to keep repeating the difference between "rap" and "hiphop". He obviously wants to make it clear that the filth we hear today is NOT "hiphop":scust:

nope, you didn't listen again, dw I'll spell it for ya :skip:

Bill Maher: "Mike what do you say to people who link crime and violence to rap music ?"

Killer Mike: "After I say you're stupid? Rap music, Hip Hop as a entity was started..."

He only makes a notion that later on that rap is not the same as Hip Hop, since rap is only a part of hip hop, but that's not what anyone is arguing. Only old cacs still don't know the difference. And he said it only once, don't know what you're talking about lol.

Your last sentence is your imagination speaking, he didn't say anything that resembles what you just said :snoop:

You're just saying what you WOULD like him to say, he doesn't share your viewpoint.

Sorry, but i dont think Killer Mike would cosign todays' black genocide music. I think he kept reminding the audience that there's a difference between "rap" and "hiphop" for a reason

A guy named killer mike
Killer mike is actually pretty good. his name is actually a sort of play on words like "Killer Microphone" cause his real first name is Michael.

i don't necessarely agree with all of what he says but he's definitely on the right path as far as hip hop. i remember reading you don't listen to rap music that much anymore but still here's a song you might like.

third verse:

Even as I'm standing here iceless Mike is priceless
Women with me prettier than Isis
Don't know if she black or a white chick
But I know this p*ssy and excitement
Gonna lead to indictments
The women and the fame put shade on enlightenment
I don seen dark days come to many bright men
I done seen a damn dime fine
As a fine wine take an Einstein mind
Leave 'em deaf dumb blind

fukkin with them jezebel whores
Liars of Delilah even marrying a Pandora
Pretty parasite she will use ya, this ain't what you used to
Stone cold bytch she Medusa

Dope ass p*ssy might make you an abuser
You an addict not in love, boy
Don't get it confused, bruh

She don't need a boyfriend she just need a booster
She the devil's pie guy
You was fukking Lucifer

:wow:

People who don't listen rap don't have valid enough opinions to discuss it at all, since they don't understand it. Why would I take seriously person who don't listen and probably doesn't even like Hip Hop:dahell: their opinions are worthless.

This guy will shyt on Killer Mike for having word "killer" in his name, and discard the truth he speaks solely for that reason :heh:

I assure you he didn't even know who Killer Mike was before I posted this link and tagged him :snoop:

Nah he didn't. Read my post again. You're putting words in his mouth to prove your point. He literally said people who link crime and violence to rap music and hip hop are dumb.
