I made a similar comment (didn't go as far as calling him miscast) during opening week and nikkas were at my neck

Idk if people are just so elated Marvel finally made a majority black movie, or if they just don't pay much attention to common attributes of iconic villains, but it was pretty evident MBJ missed the mark. On paper, his character had the chance to go down in CBM history as inarguably one of the best. Instead his performance settled in at "above average."

The Killmonger archetype is very similar to General Zod. I'd give MBJ a pass for LIFE had he given a Michael Shannon-esque performance. Breh need to hop on some AAS to deepen his soft ass voice if he's gonna try an deliver epic monologues again.
