They ruined Killzone 3



The quote from that video tells it all at the 8:20 mark...
"We were tracking 23 variables from each bullet (referring to KZ2) now we're tracking like 7 or 8"
He said that as if that was a good thing. That's what separated Killzone from the other shooters, the feel and the skill of hitting a moving target.

& just had to secretly give props to you. No other game had that type of gunplay.
I really don't want to discuss KZ3 in here...I'll just lump it in with the rest of the industry's fps.
But Killzone 2? Man the game was ahead of its time. Cats were mad because you couldn't just AIM DTS and murk everyone. AIMing DTS was crazy skillful. If you popped someones dome from across the map in Pyhruss...you knew that kid could just flat out shoot. It took mad time and patience to line up your shot & tap that trigger just right to squeeze off one bullet so you wouldn't spray. When you got that extra *chirp* sound for the head shot...you knew that nikka was like...& just had to secretly give props to you. No other game had that type of gunplay.

I want that sound effect for my text message notifications. I even asked for the devs or somebody on their forums to up it some way.
Game felt so damn good.
One of the GOAT feelings was sniping somebody from far with the Magnum. Headshot sound goes off, and they see how far you were with that gun...

on this game. He gave me huge problems. If you see guys making highlight vids of iron sites on KZ2 you know they real with it.
