BOTH SHOWS WERE ON BASIC TV.
Dude meant he didn't have a T.V..
All of these things can be true. Golden Girls was extremely successful so naturally trying to replicate that in some way would make sense. Especially since Hollywood loves redoing/copying successful things

It's so obvious LOL. I wish it would've been a way to do a crossover show. It would've been WILD to see. Rose and Sinclair confused over the simplest shyt, Blanche and Regine talking about all their heaux-tivities with their men, Khadijah and Dorothy in their pantsuits talking about whatever and Sofia and Max roasting EVERYONE!
