It's not a fact. A lot of places in Africa were 'homophobic or sexist' before a white man show up there. The idea that there was no hostility or opposition to same sex relation in the entire Africa is ridiculous and false. The reality is that you had a wide and diverse set of social reactions across various cultures when it came to homosexuality, from radical opposition to hostile indifference to tacit acceptation.

The law argument is a false one. In most african countries, westerners introduced written laws. In those same laws, you found punishment for stealing. Does it mean that it's western export? Of course no.
