Jay-Z, Dame Dash, Puffy, Pharrell, etc all managed to have successful fashion ventures without having to go on a 10 year white man kissing odyssey like Kanye. Saying he's a rookie isn't an excuse the guy has been trying to make clothes for 10 years now. Had a office on Fairfax in 2008. Interned at LV (or Fendi??) in the late 2000s.
