The best thing about chronic 2000 is how all the artists were saying shyt like "we were the first rappers to be riding 6 fos in videos, etc etc" when it was all guys that weren't on the label anymore/alive

Soopafly "like it or not" was fire tho

What if after "Toss It Up" Dr. Dre picked up Tha Realest in an attempt to undermine Tupac's greatness by producing a nearly identical quality Tupac style album

Imagine Tha Realest's album overseen the way a Dre album is with hundreds of ghostwriters involved

woulda been :lolbron: if Deathrow had signed Guerrilla Black

:damn:

In Suges defense tho, he was behind bars and wasn't hands on with these signings at the time. I'm sure that when a nikka has a 10 yr bid hanging over his head the last thing he's worried about is a record label. Whoever the guy was that Suge put in charge was probably like fuk it, if the formula ain't broke, don't fix it

:yeshrug:

its also cray that a white lady owns deathrow now :to:

I would normally agree but I think Suges pettiness is well documented and legendary:banderas:...and even in the song they say "Suge say we gotta ride for Pac cuz Puffys a bytch":laff:

Especially considering that every body and they mama (including Suge's own wife, read Greg Kadings book) knows he had something to do with it

Top Dogg-We Don't Love Em

One of the best beats EVER. Quik laced em.

Still bump that track to this day. Quik is criminally underrated in the biz

The best thing about chronic 2000 is how all the artists were saying shyt like "we were the first rappers to be riding 6 fos in videos, etc etc" when it was all guys that weren't on the label anymore/alive

Soopafly "like it or not" was fire tho

3 things:

1) That was Tha Realest doing all that claiming
2) Supposedly Tha Realest tracks on Chronic 2000 were tracks 2pac had written or were unfinished
3) It's a shame the Soopafly album didn't come out around that time like it was supposed to. The album was fire, thankfully Daz put it out on his own in 2001.
