They've shown extensive videos of the kinect working and doing everything they claim it can do. They have not shown much gameplay but the system is still 4 months away.
In my opinion your argument is silly because Sony has shown absolutely nothing to justify its $400 price tag or the advances it's supposed power advantage affords.
They do need to show more... i think they kinda know that its about to make a killing. No competition. If the Waitstation 4 would have released a cam y'all would be all over it. but they knew their cam was just a 40 dollar cam.
We would look at it a nice feature to have, but we wouldn't cyse it as a revolutionary feature like desperate xbots are doing in this thread. I haven't seen 1 Kinect feature listed in this thread, that's gonna make a PS4 gamer, PC gamer, or even a Nintendo stan want to switch to a Xbox1. You have no basis to make the claim the Xbox1 is gonna make a killing. Pre-order numbers & sales charts for various retailers like amazon.com show PS4 is killing Xbox1.

Its funny that you think its an attempt to convince you. Nah its jut putting info out there.. From a feature standpoint I'm not sure how you could say man I wish my system had less.. that would be dope. It seems like we are arguing but we aren't. Honestly we can't. So far one system has more features... so far of the first party games announced one system is better. And so far one is said to be more powerful... but all the devs say its close. So while you come in here trying to stop me and others from convincing you... realize that you are really just here convincing yourself that one day... it will all be worth it to get the Waitstation 4. Just wait a year or two and it will be worth it.
That was troll quote. What is the PS4 supposed to cost than, if the Wii U is $350 & the PS3/Xbox360 is $300? Keep in mind if a new Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop, or even a pre-built gaming PC came out with the exact same specs as the PS4 (or Xbox1) it would cost A LOT MORE than $400.

Y'all are crazy. I for one am glad its mandatory, if you don't want it spying on you put a cloth over it. If you want to save money don't buy it. All this bu bu but you can'td play GTA with it, or have fun with your dance games is played out, y'all want us to prove how a device that isn't out yet is going to change gaming forever
Y'all know we can only guess until we use it..there is no proof to be had. Just like somehing as simple are having a touch screen phone was looked at as a gimmick by some, naw I'm good with my button..texting on a keyboar is best. I just need my phone to make calls and text all that other stuff is not needed, but look at us now..iphone changed the game, nobody knew things would change like they did, and even if somebody told you how cells would be in a few years it would have sounded dumb because some things you just have to use or experienceNot saying the kinect will change things, but I do believe it has the potential to do big things.
I think they're really going to sell it off of the apps/features it brings to the table.
Again, I'm talking about the casual audience here. They're willing to take a hit from the hardcore market, but they are going after the moms and people who don't really look into all of this stuff. So there wouldn't be a point in showing Kinect Sports at E3 or anything because the casuals will automatically know that shyt will be there. I can see MS going all out with the advertising of how Kinect makes everything all "futuristic" and "convenient". People will eat the shyt up.
I don't really care, but the more news about how specific games will use it the more I'm starting to see the potential. The stuff with the sound playing a part of being heard in DR3 is a neat idea to me. MS really wants this Kinect shyt used so I'm going to just see what the devs do with it at this point.
Any form of innovation is a step in the right direction. Even though the wii was crap... the success of it spawned the Kinect which spawned the kinect 2.0... who knows what's next. The problem is that while Sony polled the Devs. Devs make games... They don't make consoles. They can tell you how to make the games easier but they can't tell you how to make it more innovative. The PS move was a joke.
