Tariq only talked about 7am 1 or 2 times on his show. Jason Black already had a movement of people (albeit smaller than Tariq) prior to Tariq bringing it up. Jason Black also mentioned 7am was pretty much done prior to him setting up the Crowdfunding, the Crowdfunding was more so to help with Marketing and stuff. The biggest thing Tariq did was mention Jason and spread Jasons reach, because I never heard of him prior to 7am, but he has been doing stuff for years.

Co Signing isn't "Producing", which is what the original post was about. We both agree Tariqs co sign gave JB a boost, but in regard to 7 AM Tariq did not have any creative control/wasn't really involved outside of donating, from what I know and have heard both say on their shows. Jason Black also gained some more viewers when he called into Tariqs show the one time, which kind of let people know that he was thorough with his info.

I'm not hating at all. I guess I should have been more specific. They are similar when it comes to profile and esteem. Personally I think it is a bad move for Tariq, no one should waste time arguing with this c00n. He won't acknowledge any type of reason used against him so what's the point other than raising profile? I don't agree with the charlatan accusation, instead I view him as a hustler which isn't a negative trait to have in a capitalist society. More of us need that in us, including myself.

As for the rest I previously explained in my post. Victor hates Tariq which is why he post with disgust regarding him. I don't and feel Tariq plays an important part in the black community. On the other hand I don't view him on the same level as a Dr. Claud Anderson or even Boyce Watkins. Tariq does have a talent that they don't possess though, he can reach parts of the youth that they can't. He plays his role well and I most definitely support him.

You made a great point, and maybe I'm sleeping on Tariqs actual intelligence as well. Him having discourse with the likes of JLP and TS may actually be deliberate. It keeps the target off while he continues to build.
