I saw on I think breakfast club...roots said they outgrew their current location (that pier) and are moving their festival to plateau park (forget the exact name) next year

how far away from the city is that? Is that a good location ?.,,,I'm from NYC and only been to Philly for MIA and was around the center city area downtown

Belmont Plateau, it's the spot Will Smith shouted out in Summertime "A place called the plateau is where everybody go"

It's about 15 to 20 minutes from Center City (Philly's downtown area) and more in the suburbs, closer to Lower Merion. It's also about 5 minutes away from my apartment so I'm gonna be next year

It's a good location, if they plan on turning it into a Woodstock type. Lot's of space...it's Fairmount Park in West....40th and Parkside is the way I go. It's about a 10 min drive from downtown. The Greek Picnic events used to be in that area.
