#FACTSIt's funny. I read a lot of the Declaration of Independence every July 4th to keep in mind the particular grievances that led to the war in the first place. All of them or at the very least, most of them were entirely reasonable. Kaep in that same spirit states explicitly what is wrong and how the people need to speak up in large numbers to right said wrongs, and the reaction generally is that "he's not a patriot and hates this country". The stupidity of these people amazes me. The country itself exists as it does because the people here were fed up with various injustices that their protesting and petitions did not solve. Tax evasion, civil disobedience, rioting, vandalism, illegal gun ownership, refusal to quarter a standing military that is perpetually armed in the streets, and ultimately treason are various ways to describe the revolution itself. My personal favorite line states in 1776 type wording that when something is wrong, it's the responsibility of the people who can fight such an injustice to be the ones to fight it essentially. I'd be willing to bet that 90% of people here forget this. I just hope the next generation isn't as stupid and easily brainwashed as the last 2-3 including this one. His protesting is patriotism in its purest form.
