As a Texan, this show is so poignant and it has a special place in my heart. Whataburger and Luby's Cafeteria (Luly's in the show) making regular appearances in show always sold me on it. It took me a while to realize that Luanne was named after the Lu Ann platter at Luby's. They literally named her Luanne Platter.
