I would love to see an update 20 years from now and see him graduating from law school or something.

But again, he has to avoid becoming a victim of "da culture" in order for this to happen. It's gonna be an uphill battle considering who his father is and how celebrated he and his lifestyle is. The sad fact is, where he is staying at, that the behavior is glorified.

Nah it's an indicator that the kid is being harmed in some way and feels helpless. Harming animals might be a way for him to regain power. You're right that many serial killers started out like this, but the common denominator is usually severe abuse/neglect by parental figures.

Yeah, but sadly the foster care system is broken. The kid is more likely to end up getting tossed around between abusive homes.
