Whats the controversy with this game?

Edit: NVM I looked it up. Too many cacs in 15th century bohemia in the first game. Second game adds a little more diversity to be more in line with historical context and gay shyt cuz gays still existed back then...conservative neckbands upset...

Guess I'll wait until it's on gamepass to try it out. I like medieval stuff and historical portrayal are fun to me. Loved assassin's creed for that reason. I won't pay the dev money for this tho

Finally got round to this after purchasing it on release. Got to say it’s amazing, if you liked the first you will definitely like this as they have vastly improved on key areas. More so in regards to putting broader indicators for quests. In the first game you would be wondering aimlessly in a location trying to find where is lovers nest etc…

Really enjoying it I know there has been controversy with one of the creators but if you were to judge the game of merit alone it is fantastic.

I’m surprised this game isn’t getting more love from the coli.

The first couple hours are slow (when you have no money, armor, or weapons) but once you get going it’s real good.

I don’t like the combat but at least it’s easy once you learn Master Strike.

It’s not in the same class as BG3 by any means but I think most rpg fans would like it.

They never really fukked with the original as well, when the first one was released it was only me and a few others talking about it in the thread.

same, i tried to get into it.

first person melee combat was never appealing to me.
I'd play this game if it was done like Ghost of Tsushima though

Yeah it isn’t for everyone as it requires an abundance of patience to understand the game mechanic but once you do you are good. You start of struggling against one bandit to mastering the mechanics and buffing up to taking out an entire camp.:wow:

Like In 30 hrs playtime. Just realized you can upgrade perks l. I had like 30 unused pts. Was wondering when this shyt would get easier lmao
Everything gets easier once you level up and upgrade even the dreaded lockpicking. I thought combat in this one was initially harder than in the first one but once you get master strike you are now a sword prodigy.

I don't even pick locks. Haven't picked one in game. I'm on my Nes Stark honorable playthrough. Sword game crazy
