Isn't KH3 PS4 only anyway

They need to put all the compilations on PS store or something so that way for the first time you'll be able to play all the relevant KH games on one system for the first time.

TGS 2015: KINGDOM HEARTS 2.8 FINAL CHAPTER PROLOGUE ANNOUNCED

Set to lead right into Kingdom Hearts 3.
Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts II.8: Final Chapter Prologue for PlayStation 4.

The title follows the company's model of releasing three titles in the Kingdom Hearts franchise in one compilation.

Kingdom Hearts II.8 will contain a HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance, along with scenes from Unchained X called Back Cover, set to tell the tale of the Foretellers and revealing new parts of the series' history. The final part of the collection is Birth by Sleep 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage -, which is a completely new part of the story taking place after the events of the original Birth by Sleep, told from the perspective of Aqua.

The first official trailer for the game will arrive on September 17.




Such an announcement was teased last week when something called Kingdom Hearts 2.9 seemed to leak. Apparently we were wrong about the name, but as speculated this newly-announced game will indeed directly lead right into the events of Kingdom Hearts III. Sadly we're still waiting on a version of first games for PS4 - such a thing has certainly been teased before.

During Disney's recent D23 Expo in North America, we learned Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature a world based on the 2014 film Big Hero 6.

So that's HD Dream Drop, cutscenes, and BBS 2. Based on how long BBS 2 is, that'll determine whether or not it's worth buying

It won't be long at all. This is basically kingdom hearts "ground zeroes"

But this will tell the long awaited story of Aqua's 10 years in the realm of darkness and we get our first look at KH3 gameplay and engine first hand. So it's hands down better then just a simple KH3 demo of sora running around twilight town.

Nah, it's just that games like FF XV and KH 3 were decided to be multi platform before the PS4 and XB1 were released. Companies didn't expect the gap between the two systems to be as big as it is now.

Right now, I'd say unless it's a major title, don't expect too many Japanese games to be released on XB1.

In Japan the PS4 isn't exactly a beast sales wise but on average it still sells 10k a week. In comparison the XB1 sells on average about 150 a week. Square-Enix and other companies have realized that it's not worth the effort to develop their games for XB1 since no one would buy them (Example FF Type-0) and worldwide the PS4 is doing great compared to its competition.

Yea its a sad reality but XB1 users don't support the system when it comes to japanese titles....so you can forget about them getting a lot of RPGs this generation, and general japanese games all together.

Maybe one day they will be but right now the entire series minus DDD is playable on a PS3. Either they need to port 1.5 and 2.5 to the PS4 of put 2.8 on the PS3 as well.

"Zero Point" is the name of the secret ending/episode of Birth By sleep


"0.1" is the name of the Birth By Sleep V2 trailer


"0.2" is the continuation of the secret ending that explains Aqua's 10 years in the dark realm(End of Birth By Sleep-End of Dream Drop Distance)

2.9 is needed. All y'all mad have no idea what's going on because y'all haven't played the series since 2.

Dream drop distance leads DIRECTLY into KH3. There is no way in hell you can understand what's going on without playing DDD.

And they can slap a kh3 demo on and sale millions

Why this isn't on the PS3 boggles the mind. The entire series minus DDD is playable on the PS3. Hell DDD should have been on 2.5

The reason is because PS4 has the touch pad and can utilize that for the Reality Shifts that were in the original Dream Drop Distance. PS3 doesn't have that feature, and is probably the same reason Xbox One isn't getting it either. The other reason is because Birth By Sleep 0.2 is running on the Kingdom Shader apparently, and is too powerful to run on a PS3. The same could also apply to the Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover HD movie, since we don't actually know how they're going to present the movie yet. (Whether it might be in the typical 358/2 Days or Re: Coded style or animated.)

They are really milking Kingdom hearts nikkas got to own a ps3 and ps4 just to play all the games since they will not re release the 1.5 and 2.5 games to ps4 then Kingdom hearts 2.8 is just a DS game, rip cut scenes from the mobile game..... then just the 2nd half of aqua's story no one needs this shyt we all know what happens... kinda bullshyt that she did not run in to Micky or riku when they were trapped there... ever more bullshyt she did not run in to Sora or Riku when they were there... but watch square enix come up with some bullshyt excuse why Micky, riku and sora did not see her while their are there.
