I honestly believe it. Square most likely went through a restructuring
when they acquired those western development teams.
There's no doubt in my mind that their development has
sped up 10 fold once they saw how western studio's are
structured vs japanese studio's.

On top of that I would imagine the tools they've
spent the last three or four years working on are
being put to great use.
