I see Aye Verb is damn near unbeatable at home. Great battle, Cortez lost steam in the third round. His first round was solid, his second was great. But Aye Verb was INSANE all three rounds. maybe his most complete performance ever. It was the most lyrical he's been since hollow. he won comfortably

This is the verb that needs to show up in NY. Not that sounding like he just woke up,trying to land punchlines verb that's shows up every time. Dude brought it all 3 rounds. Verb just low key ran through the big 3 in NYB.
Cortez was....ehh...cortez. He's not good but he's not bad which isn't really a good thing being that he's been battling for a while now. He gets top tier opponents but i never believe he has a shot at winning.He has some decent lines but he raps so cocky like they're great lines. He needs to lose some of the cockyness and work on performance and crowd capturing cause his lines don't come of as memorable and I feel like I'm forcing myself to listen to him at times.

Ayeverb third basically set up Tez to fail during that third round though, the way he broke down Cortez's rep as an underwhelming battle rapper ( I like him, but that's how alot of people view him) meant that if Tez didn't have FIRE coming out his mouth next, the crowd wouldn't rock with him. And that NASA line was mean.
Verb was in rare form, not many battle rappers would've walked away with a W that day against him.

DNA is better suited to GT/KOTD/DF scenes then URL. Plus he does alot of corny shyt and some of his bars dont make sense. What helps him tho is that hes some charisma, his performances have energy and is a likable personality. But his bars/penmanship are average maybe above average if im feelin generous.
