Who would we draft at 8 that would help us? We got our franchise big, we got scoring from Gay and Ben Mac(if he rights himself in year 2) can't forget about DWill either.

Malone wants to instill his hard nose defensive ideas in this squad from jump, which means you need to get a tenacious defender at the 1. If Bledsoe's knee is right and he can defend like he did when the Suns were going hard in the beginning of last year this is definitely a great trade for us.

This team doesn't nene any more projects.

This would actually be a smart trade for the Kings, Eric Bledsoe is a good scorer but a good defender as well which is more important for that team. The Kings have no problem putting points on the board, but they allow other teams to score 110 points a game and that won't do. As for Pheonix they can package those picks to move up in the draft or trade a couple to maybe get Iman Shumpert from the Knicks who are in desperate need of draft picks.
