Players association agreed to it

It's terrible, fuking idiots

Has to be the least "free market" construct in modern pro sports.

With that said, cousins should be asking for Aaron Rodgers, cam newton money. In no way am I saying he is that good but from his perspective he had the best season in franchise history (:mjlol:).

I don't see how a negotiation comes out with both sides feeling happy.

he gonna get franchised

and he should. Dont give that dude a long term contract. If he balls next year then sure, but now? fukk that.

:laff: He's going to get exposed like hell next year.

He wants to get paid like he's a superstar but all he did was get us into the playoffs
Redskins might just be crazy enough to lock him down in a big contract

He stumbled into the playoffs with a cupcake schedule, dumbed down playcalling, and a weak division.

I said right after the season was over that if he doesn't get franchised, the Skins are officially on that :mjpls:

Franchising him is just the smart thing to do from a business standpoint... but if they break down and give that guy like 40 million guaranteed plus a 3 year deal then...... :smh:

Lol that would be good for NFC East...even tho Kirk did well against Eagles this year. Gruden likes him and he won his division but I doubt those two will make a lot of noise outside the division and be able to hang with the big boys like the Pack, Seattle, Arizona and Carolina. I see Kirk struggling with that.

They're gonna franchise his lil bytch ass, but next year he's just gonna go back to being what he always was... trash, they'll release his fakkit ass and he'll become a career back-up qb.

He'll get paid eventually. I mean however you want to rewrite it he made it to the playoffs :yeshrug:
The Redskins better pay him :yeshrug:. There's ways you can do these contracts where players are pretty much doing 1 year deals even though the deal might say 4-5 years:ehh:

Franchise tag him and see what he does next year with a first place schedule. He's going to have to face the Packers, Cardinals, and Panthers next season. The wo of which he lost to last season. Let's really see what he's made of.
