Brady never had to have qb shootout within his own division. How can you play 20 years in one division and never have to worry about another qb with your division. Real talk has there even been another AFC east probowl qb in the last 18 years besides Brady.
Yeah but at least cousins showed 3 seasons of above average play while being stuck on a mediocre team, compared to osweiler who was competent for half a season on a team that won it all

Would love to draft a QB, but unfortunately the Jets fukked themselves over winning meaningless games.
Rosen will be out of reach. As will Darnold.
Mayfield may be available, but I'm not 100% comfortable at him at 6. And even he may not be available there. And I'm not giving up anything to move up for him.
Lamar Jackson. Love him. My 2nd favorite QB in this draft. But the Jets aren't all that high on him from what I've heard, plus I have no faith in them actually developing him. He'll never reach his potential with us. They'll ruin him.
And so that leaves us with Josh Allen.
So realistically its Kirk Cousins vs Josh Allen? fukk Allen. Gimme Cousins and just use FA and the draft to get pieces around him
