Would love to draft a QB, but unfortunately the Jets fukked themselves over winning meaningless games.

Rosen will be out of reach. As will Darnold.

Mayfield may be available, but I'm not 100% comfortable at him at 6. And even he may not be available there. And I'm not giving up anything to move up for him.

Lamar Jackson. Love him. My 2nd favorite QB in this draft. But the Jets aren't all that high on him from what I've heard, plus I have no faith in them actually developing him. He'll never reach his potential with us. They'll ruin him.

And so that leaves us with Josh Allen.

So realistically its Kirk Cousins vs Josh Allen? fukk Allen. Gimme Cousins and just use FA and the draft to get pieces around him

If the Jets will ruin Jackson isn’t the same true for all others mentioned

Cousins you know you got your low ceiling and you’re gonna pay out the ass for it

With these other rookies, to me they’re not much different in talent from 1-5 of them, so you draft one hope you hit it and pay very low rookie deal for 5 years

Just draft lamar and hope Bates can help him, and they surround him. Allen is Kyle boller part 2

That’s that lowkey subconscious :mjpls:

Jackson doesn’t need any more work than any other QB in this draft save maybe Rosen

I don't trust the Jets with any QB that needs development.

To me there is. Rosen, Jackson, and Darnold are 100% worth taking that high.

Mayfield? Meh

Allen? :camby: We already have Josh Allen on the board and his name is Christian Hackenberg. Hard pass

I would love that. But I don't believe the Jets are that high on Lamar that they'd even take him that high to begin with.

I've been vocal about my dislike for Josh Allen. We don't need another Christian Hackenberg. Unfortunately, I can see the Jets taking him :beli:

Well that’s my point

To say Jets will ruin this guy well then don’t they ruin all of the qbs then?

To me they all need development as college and pros are night and day, and most these guys all have legitimate question marks

The Jets need a QB who is fool proof. Pick the guy with the least amount of flaws, and if they can’t find it, how about not winning meaningless games?! They’ve had two years to guarantee themselves the #1 pick by starting Hackenberg and they’ve failed. The Jets are the only team that can look at the Browns and go “damn they got it good.”

If they draft Allen, Mac and Woody are basically saying they’d rather have a guy who looks the part of a good QB than a guy who can actually be one.

This is all moot because the Jets are gonna draft a lineman to replace Wilkerson and set the edge because Lord knows that’s the shyt you spend first rounders on in 2018.

If anything it's the opposite. Lamar is a special talent, and while you are correct in that he's not a full blown project like he's made out to be, he still needs some work done to reach his full potential. And I don't trust the Jets to do that

If anything, I'm trying to help/save Lamar. He deserves better than the Jets :mjcry:

The Jets should take lamar, he can improve his passing. He can keep the play alive with his legs. If Cam newton or some other black qb had his accuracy issue they would be 3rd rounder, as it is Mason Rudolph is down there he's better then Allen. And Cam can run to compensate for his issue, Allen is a supposed pocket guy with 58% completion average.

Teams really do like to risk it all for white QB's. Must be nice.

Jets have built a nice defensive core now with many of them on their rookie deals. A better defense than he had in Washington for sure, I can see the Jets way of thinking. I don’t see any QB worth trading up for, and I don’t see Lamar as the #6 pick.

Unless you watched Kirk with all22 film I’m not debating with you. I knew he was ass after I peeped him on coachfilm when I had the nfl package. Bum=he really ain’t shyt. C- type qb. 0-100 he gets a 75-79 from me.

Draft Mayfield, but then again you said realistic :mjcry:

He ain't shyt anyway. The truth of the matter is Bowles would be down for this because he has zero faith in any young QB being able to save his job.

sign Teddy Bridgewater for a decent contract and use the rest of that money on a couple of pass rushers and Malcolm Butler & draft a bunch of offensive players
