It's cultural. French and Italians kiss their baies in the lips a lot and they hug em less. I am not kissing my son on the lips though. Cheeks and forehead

I don't kiss my kids on the lips. That's a lil weird to me, but I give monster kisses on their cheeks, and necks. Bear hugs all day long, cause Daddy love em. Letting them know you love em develops confident kids.

i kissed my boys everywhere while they were infants but as they got older that was a no no i gave affection in other ways. i used to give my kids zurburts(not an actual word but thats what it sounds like) kinda like what bill cosby used to do to olivia instead of kissing and i understand u aint talking bout tongue kissing.
