You really compared Avery fukkin Johnson and this McGruder guy

you don’t think Francis or AI could be coaches if they wanted to?

Are you drunk? Hell no Iverson wouldn’t be no coaches. The point is role player and journey last longer in this league

Rodney McGruder signed a 3 year / $15,000,000contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, including $10,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $5,000,000.

I’m sure he’ll sleep alright tonight...
Breh, that's not that much really. When he got waived he lost that last year on his contract so you're already down to $10 million, once you take out taxes, the agent, trainers and other bball expenses, you're probably down to just $3 million or less. McGruder had to grind in Europe and the G-league for years before he even made it into the NBA and hardly made anything his first few years, it's not guaranteed he'll make anything after this and then his career is over. He better be saving and investing wisely cause otherwise that money won't stretch too long at all.

This post makes zero sense, but I can see you going for pro black stance for daps.

So why is Rodney out there starting shyt with other black folk? Huh? Wouldn’t that be clown shyt as well?

Talking shyt about your own play is no big deal, obviously. It's talking shyt about another player's livelihood that has some folk feeling a certain way.

No he's not. He's saying Rodney won't be in the league next year cause he's trash :heh:

You can't be this dense.
I can't be as dense as what? Saying that McGruder won't be in the league next year cause he's trash is talking about his livelihood. What did you think I meant?

Players who made 20x as much piss it away real easy. Think of all the family and friends and shyt who are gonna be calling in favors. You look at what posters here claim they'd do with money and you can see how easy it would go. Even if he spends it wisely, if all he did was fund a reasonable livelihood since he came into the NBA (say $200,000/year or so), pay off his family's debts, and buy his mom a house, it might be mostly gone already. $3 million is a nice stack, but if that's all you get and then the occupation you've worked your life to enter just goes away, you better be frugal with that stack or its gonna be gone real quick.

So players shouldn't call other players trash because it could affect their livelihood...got it :coffee:
Why are we talking about what "players" do? We're talking about what Klay did to a player in that particular position while he had that platform of getting the mike for a game. When you're in that position, there's just no need for a silver spoon star to do that shyt talking about an end-of-the-bench guy who is grinding just to make a living.

Where is the comparison?

Klay is a current player talking shyt about another current player starting shyt with his teammates.

Shaq been retired a decade, telling current players they ain't shyt for TV ratings.

Why would the energy be the same?
Damn shame this has to be explained.

Welp, don’t start shyt with a person on Klay’s team

ppl who start shyt don’t get to clutch pearls and act like a victim.

Same goes for spectators. Even if it had nothing to do with the warriors I’d feel the same. You run over to the other team’s area and try to check someone, other teammates are gonna talk shyt to you.
