If I'm the warriors the only person I'm trading klay for is Marc gasol and Tony Allen. They have enough scoring they need defense. Not sure if the salaries match or whatever but that's just off the top of my head.

I know a lot of Heat fans wouldn't agree with me but I would do Hassan for Klay. Then try to trade Tyler Johnson/Dragic for a big. Go after Blake in free agency. Core of Klay, Blake, Justise, Richardson and whatever they get for Dragic/Johnson

Well, Klay being traded wouldn't have as much to do with his defense as it would have to do with the fact that there aren't enough balls for that Golden State offense. Offensively, Klay is their 4th best player. And Draymond is the glue guy and a MUCH better defender than Klay.

But I agree that a legit Center is what the Warriors need.

But something has to give if you want to contend. You can't have an omnipotent offense yet have a deficient defense. Klay contributes less to the team (on offense and defense) than the other starters, save Javale McGee. That's just fact.

its 10 games into the season... they are 8-2.. no reason to panic and make moves. They have enough new players to integrate this season. A lot of their defensive issues have little to do with rim protection. Most of the issues have been miscommunication on switches, leaving guys wide open, or creating a lane for them to drive. When they do drive it'd be nice to have a rim protector there, but if they sort out the communication and get more effective on their switches, they'll be fine.

Communication issues aside, Tristan Thompson is gonna kill the Warriors front court. They NEED a defensive Center. Klay's expendable if they can trade for one.
