Klay was being an a$$hole publicly too let’s not rewrite history here
it's not about rewriting anything, they have done this with every player that leaves. They did it to D'LO too. I just don't find the point in doing it once a guy is gone, especially someone like Klay you want to maintain a good relationship with.

Damn shame to see this. Warriors were a fun team to watch for a decade and that 2022 ship was great to see. Thought Dray would easily be the first to go of the three

But I get both sides. GSW did right by Klay in 19 with the big contract after he tore his ACL knowing he'd miss the year. Klay then feeling slighted with the 2 year/48 mil offer last year, thinking he'd get more this year. He didn't but guess the bridge was burned already.

Thought him and Steph would both finish in GS. Great run.

Almost Ray Allen ish

Took a cheaper deal to leave a team he won a championship with, and with a smaller role
Or KD ish.

Join a losing finalist from your own conference with major superstars after a disappointing year :sas2:

But I'm rooting for Klay. What I hope the 30 for 30 on #30 will focus on is, if both of your co-members from the big three end up dysfunctional off the court, the biggest superstar you ever played with who got you two rings leaves because he felt underappreciated, your young gun gets punched in the face and flops and gets traded after that and your best bud leaves the organization disgruntled, at what point do we start questioning your leadership...? :jbhmm:
