Thompson did not share the same sentiment as otherscalling for the Warriors’ minority owner to receive a lifetime ban for shoving Kyle Lowry after the Raptors star fell into the stands early in the fourth quarter during Toronto’s 123-109 Game 3 victory Tuesday night.

“It was unfortunate,” Thompson told reporters Thursday afternoon. “It wasn’t very cool. We’ll give him a little benefit of the doubt because I think that was his significant other that got toppled. It wasn’t like he threw a hard punch, just kind of a forceful shove.”
