Why let him shoot that FT? What if he misses and has to block out, or tries to get a rebound etc etc. Especially given the fact that he didn't return awayway...why let him back on the court for that. That organization's greed and disregard for player health is on broad display.

You can't let players make certain decisions about their health that put them at risk. The team should protect them from themselves.

A strong hamstring helps protect the ACL, Klay was a high risk for an ACL injury right from the go with his impaired Ham..playing that level of ball and only having your ACL carry the load for all that movement and weight is foolish tbh. The Warriors medical staff look like idiots.

And before anyone asks.. I'm an ex SF medic and M.D.

It's more about the team being so dominant they haven't been physically pushed in awhile.

All over use injuries all non contact
Offenses have more movement then ever. Guys have to run, and cut more especially on defense, and that creates more wear and tear. That said klay injury was just a freak accident. That would have happened in preseason and still be a tear. Just bad luck

Wasn't bad luck and it wasn't a freak accident, it could've been preventable with more rest.

He landed wrong. Hayward damn near lost a foot on the first game of the season because of a bad landing.

Well yeah.."Toes were out and knee was in" when he landed...two possible scenarios popped up when he fell down in pain. A fukked up MCL which helps control side to side movement in the knee and a fukked up ACL, I already suspected ACL just off the fact he already had a weakened hamstring and it being on the same leg.

When he lands his knee is bent sideways. He had no balance from the foul. This is like blaming rest for nurkic breaking his leg.

If the medical staff would've advised precautions, this more than likely wouldn't have happened..although I understand why, shouldn't have played GM 4 and probably should've had restricted minutes in GM 5.
