I don't want a positive Dolan story. What in my posts led you to believe such? I just am not gonna get bogged down in the tin foil hat conspiracy bullshyt. The thing you don't get is that once a team goes a long time toiling in futility, the media in that town figure out what the easy, go to stories are milk them for all their worth. Dolan has gone from being the owner of the team that has made asinine decisions before to being the fukking boogie man that everyone looks for when anything they don't want to happen, happens. It's gotten to the point that it doesn't really matter what decision is made, right or wrong, and angle will be thought up just to bring up the ineptitude of the owner. As a fan of Knicks basketball, I'm really sick of being force fed stories about everyone but the people who are actually playing basketball for the fukking team. Lin is gone. Believe it or not, some of us really don't think it's that big a loss. But none of us are thanking Dolan for it either. We're thinking of the actual basketball players instead of trying to be amateur beat journalists or ESPN anchors.

blacks are always often seen as the villains or 'the guys to beat' in sports
anytime a non-black can even come close to competing; a spotline is shined on them like they're being led by god himself. i can see why that pisses a lot of people off. especially when many of those athletes have worked twice as hard to get in a similar spot.
MJ was a villain? Bron got mad hate cuz he left Cleveland, but since he won his ring, it's been nothing but dikkriding (no homo), deservedly so. Guys like Floyd intentionally market themselves as the villain because it'll do better box office numbers. So I'm gonna disagree with you there, if you make yourself out to be the villain, then that's what it is. I think black athletes are thrust into being heroes much more often than being cast as the villain.
