Real talk though...

Who will be first with respect to being a key piece to a chip?

Porzingis or Lowry?

Honestly. I really like Lowry and I'd like him on the Knicks but right now, the Knicms have a potential franchise player, cap space and I'm happy with that. So happy, in fact, that anything less than a chip, I wouldn't change shyt, including trading Shump for Lowry especially since Lowry STILL would have needed to skgn that offseason so...

Let's let the past be the past...

KP is an incredible prospect. Im a huge fan of his game and his ceiling is almost as high as Karl Towns IMO. He was a grear pick and I would be overjoyed if we had him... but... Lowry is right now in the ECF as the underdog playing his mind out. Hes competing for the title right now, not the future. The Series is tied 2-2 and we are 2 wins from the first ever Finals. 6 improbable wins away from a ship. 6 wins away from a title with Kyle. I wouldnt trade that for anything. Maybe him and Melo would have been in this position and youd trade KP for that shot.

I def thank you for a respectful response, breh.

Very persuasive. Still, there is a dysfunction that leads me to believe that the Knicks, at that time, would not have had that success.

I do believe that dysfunction still exists but we have a much more optimistic future now.

I also believe that trading the future of KP as a Knick - in a time machine - for a Lowry/Melo lineup that would still lose to GSW or OKC for the next 5 years is not tempting.

Annual thanks Dolan thread
Would we have Porzingis if we got Lowry?

Would Lowry have given us an actual chance at a chip in these Cavs-Warriors era? Would that chance have been better than the potential chance a 26 yr old Porzingis will give us in his prime?

Find out next time when Reinscarf thanks the Knicks again after the inevitable Raptors Championship parade.

:mjlol:
you gotta excuse him dog...this is literally the most successful he's seen his franchise in its 20+ years of existence...
let him be happy in being a second fiddle to lebron.
when lowry opts out and fleeces them nikkas and come into camp fat as fukk next year off of a year of not being a threat to the cavs again he'll see the error in being hype over a 31 year old 5'11(that nikka aint 6 foot :mjlol:)point guard.
