He didnt suck. His first year as a head coach he won 48 games in the most stacked conference of all time with a team that wasnt expected to win half that. Then management screwed up the roster and threw Jeff under the bus.

I could be wrong, I guess. But I hope you're right on the Melo part.
Hornacek's offense with the Suns was pretty simple. Run the floor for easy buckets, iso, pick and pop/roll. He gave players freedom(sometimes too much freedom) to do whatever they wanted on the floor.
If he does the same with the Knicks, they'll need a point guard.
