This is gonna suck when this Black coach is gonna get the blame if the Knicks dont make it to at least the conference Finals, if not the NBA Finals THIS SEASON. Any regression is gonna be blamed on Mike Brown.

This is why it was a dumb idea to fire Thibs. You were suppose to let Thibs regress so Brown has room to grow. He has no margin for error right out the gate. Expectations too high

Mike Brown is not going to be much of an improvement over Thibs if at all.

Lateral move at best here.

Incompetent front office.

Good coach but I feel like his personality doesn't suit the pressure that comes with being a coach for a major New York Franchise

we finally in a era where brehs can jump team to team regardless of outcome like cacs been doing for ages:manny: this what we wanted

Mike Malone will be fine but yall act like he was some god level coach, he had a top 10 all-time player who was unselfish, he aint a guaranteed culture/finals appearance guy like that

Mike Brown is a 2x Coach of the Year, his last win being just 2 seasons ago. Why is this thread treating him like his last career accomplishment was during Obama's first term like Doc Rivers or something?? :what:

We don’t have time to waste for Thibs to figure it out or "regress". He his who he is.

Mike Brown is a downgrade over Thibs based on the simple fact that he wasn't even their top 5 candidate of potential candidates. He literally only got the job because everyone else either turned it down or got blocked by their team from interviewing.

They didn't fire Thibs with the expectation of ending up with Mike Brown as their final pick.
Anyone who tells you different is lying

What a great hire to ensure you do not compete for championships. :gladbron:

Tom was fired because he had the Knicks at the doorstep, you aren't supposed to do that. The narrative is that the Knicks are supposed to be incompetent and inept while sitting on wads of cash. :beli:

Why is everyone ignoring part of the reason Mike Brown was fired in Sacramento was. being too much of a hard ass?

Thibs, Malone, Brown are all part of the same spectrum coaching wise imo.
