MVP voters are victims of narratives, they don't necessarily vote for who the best performing player is or who has the most impact. They just follow.I think you're a damn good player to do it. As do MVP voters
Averaging an arbitrary amount of surface stats doesn't mean a cotdamn thing at the end of the day, you've just been conditioned to believe it does because it follows basketball tradition. Westbrook is a great rebounder, but it's not because he averages 10+ boards, because most of those are uncontested which have little to no impact on the game. We really should be discussing what impact he has on the game, rather than some meaningless ass box score #s.As do the greatest players we've ever seen because they said the shyt is hard to do.
To be able to do those 3 skills at such an elite level means something.
