Best thread of the year.

Lin was better and more consistent that Amare all season, and was primed to do more damage with the right training camp and staff. This is a no brainier as to who the real problem was.

Linsanity also brought in CRAZY revenue, and Lin is a LEGIT point guard. Big loss for the Knicks.
lin played 35 games........he's alright but he's not real... yet......48million year three for someone who played 35 games?......fuggg outta here.....lin needs a 82 game season to prove he worthy of that type of money..evryone lets get back to reality.........at the end of the day the numbers he put up in that run were mostly garbage teams check the schedule.........the schedule got harder and also once the scouting report got around and he couldnt sneak up on people he was turnover prone and really average......d will roasted him 2nd time.....chalmers shut him down........thats how you measure a player once teams prepare for you.... its a total difference......knicks were just stupid for not locking the kid up early........

First off, Linsanity was the most exciting (short) era of the Knicks since the 99 days. Now, who gives a shyt about them. Not only did they lose the casual fans, they're losing the diehard fans. Instead of a young thriving PG like Jeremy Lin, Knicks are gonna have to watch a drunken wife beating psycopath like Jason huff and puff past the half court line and Raymond Felton will average a double double a game.... from five guys fast food restaurant.

Let's discuss how Lin won more games without Melo than Melo won without Lin.

Allan Houston 6/100... Dolan is a billionaire who cares

Jerome James 5/30.... okay, that's fine we're caking

Amare 5/99..... despite his knee injuries and overall decline, we can eat that

Jeremy Lin 3/25

slow your roll Dolan. I don't mind that he's a young thriving cash cow who is only gonna get better, the luxury tax is something we need to worry about.

Knicks went from being a fun relevant trash team to being garbage, irrelevant and boring. Enjoy having games on ESPN2 alongside the Sparks and Silverstars.

Let's keep it funky, the Knicks let a decent cheap (relatively) PG that really wasn't that expensive to keep walk for no reason. There's no way to justify such poor decision making.
