Knowing how to play instruments versus being creative enough to apply the knowledge into timeless music is completely different.

The answer was language by a mile anyway, but considering the above, it makes the decision that much easier.

Well one allows you to communicate with anyone in the world and read any ancient writing that has ever existed :whew:

The other gets you a gold buzzer on America’s Got Talent until you lose to the little white kid who used to have pneumonia and plays the ukulele :shaq2:

At first I was thinking languages but on further review I'm gonna go with master of instruments. Music is pretty much universal so if I'm a master and can pick up and play anything I'd be beyond the Stevie Wonder/Prince level. So in a way you are choosing to be able to speak one type of language (speech) vs another type of language (music).

And brehs thinking they gonna get action cause they can speak any language are in for an awakening. If you don't have game in English you ain't gonna have game in Navajo:francis:

If you show up to a spot with a guitar though, you let the strings do the talking and keep yo mouth shut, you gonna fall into that thang:shaq:

This isn't even close. Do you know how much money you could make as a translator/interpreter if you knew every language?

You'd never have to worry about money for the rest of your life.

:gucci: Speaking to anyone in the world and interpreting the exact meaning of their message couldn’t get you at least 6 figures :patrice: can you explain?

Instruments. It's cool to learn different languages but music is universal in everyone in every language, like it or not.

That’s like asking how much do rappers make. The better question is how much does the top 10 interpreters make and start there. It’s easily over 6 figures.

average in DC is 90k. My ex spoke Japanese and Chinese (black chick) she made 70 right out the gate. No telling what she makes now.
