8 consecutive finals, something no one had done since the Celtics. All as the #1 player. All while playing HIS offense. All while him putting up MVP caliber numbers every year. On two different teams, with 3 different head coaches and an insane amount of roster turnover. Yall can miss me with the "tHe EaST wAs WeAk!" or "bbUT HiS fINAls rEcord!" bullshyt, no player has been that much of a sure thing since Shaq /Robin Kobe Era Lakers or Jordan and the Bulls and even they played on the best team of the decade with the greatest coach of that era.

To pearl clutch because of his finals record or his "loaded roster" is pure reductionist bullshyt. Making it that many times as the clear focal point/best player, is an insane feat. For context, we have seen the loss of a 6th and 7th men tilt teams out of Finals contention (the Nuggets). Kevin Durant, who is a top 5 scorer in NBA history, had to literally go to the greatest regular season team EVER, defer to Curry and the system just to go to three and win two, before injuries and egos blew it all up.

Yall fakkits and your rings narratives distort the truth, which is that winning isnt easy and little things quickly become mountains that become insurmountible hurdles for even the best teams.
What LeBron did with going to 8 consecutive finals is great but it’s not the most dominant stretch in NBA history. He went 3-5 in that stretch and thats not the most dominant in NBA history. You Bron stans like to go overboard with his accomplishments.

He created all those scenarios of instability with stacking 2 different super teams, getting coaches fired, getting players traded, signing 1+1 short term deals, being passive aggressive towards his teammates/organizations. He don’t get credit for that.

It’s hypocritical to say on one hand that it’s hard to win then trying to shade MJ/Kobe for 3peating and winning with dynasties. How great was Phil Jackson as a coach prior to MJ? MJ was always MJ.

LeBron had a great organization with the Heat. He had a great GM in Pat Riley and a great championship coach in Spoelstra but yet he still jump ship so that’s on him.

We playing sag defense on GOATs... never!!!! Also dude got mad when Kawhi checked into the game. :mjlol: And this is with whom people wanna put in a convo with MJ?

That’s literally what the Pistons did to Jordan. :skip: Let him shoot and if he drives foul him hard.

I swear Yall shouldn’t talk about who the goat is if you don’t know the history of the game

2004 Pistons used Kobe's ego to their advantage

"We knew there was no way we could stop Shaq straight-up"

"But what’s going to happen is Mr. Bryant is going to get a little discouraged with getting no touches and now the second half comes around…now he’s pressing. He’s going to start coming down and just breaking the offense." - Chauncey Billups

Kobe took 29 more shots than Shaq in the series despite Shaq averaging 27 PPG on 62 TS%. Kobe shot 38% in the series.

Ask the league :yeshrug:

Last year, The Athletic unveiled the findings from its yearly Michael Jordan vs. LeBron James GOAT player poll. According to the results, 45.9 percent of the 133 players who participated in the survey picked Jordan as their GOAT of choice.

However, James was hot on his heels, garnering 42.1 percent of the votes,

Kobe stans are funny :mjlol:

They hyperfocus on four years of LeBron’s career (2007-2011) . They already have weak and contradictory arguments, but it’s fukking hilarious knowing that whatever criticism of LeBron they have falls the fukk apart after 2011, where he then goes on to have the most dominant individual run in NBA history. Even the graphics they use are from before his time in Miami or the first year there . fukking pathetic :mjlol:

Kobe gets 3 sidekick rings, 3 years of being in his prime , chucking away and missing the playoffs and getting bounced out of the first round… to his credit he gets gifted the most lopsided trade in NBA history and with the most dominant front court in the NBA, leads his team to two rings…,then promptly gets :flabbynsick: , falls off a cliff, and runs any perspective talent off so he can chuck his way into retirement.

I bet LeBron wishes he could’ve had a career like that :troll:
Hes the King of aura, especially after his rebranding into the Black Mamba. Which was 100% branding and marketing. Sports is still show business. Kona is the goat shot chucker and I don't mean that to be disrespectful.
