Seems like it’s been longer than 5 years. Still remember my nephew’s reaction when I told him(he’s a big Kobe fan), he thought I was kidding and at that moment I wished it was a hoax.

An event so tragic and unexpected, it’s still hard for me to believe and comprehend.

I couldn’t watch the funeral and it’s difficult to watch highlights and retrospectives of his life and career.

He should still be here with us :sadbron:

Who's cutting onions?

:to:

Ironically I was cutting onions when I found out. Almost accidentally cut my finger off when my brother told me.

Kobe and MJ are the only two non-family deaths I think most people remember vividly what they were doing and where they were when they heard the news.

RIP

Still the most shocking death of my lifetime..

Bro I was driving back from my mom's place and I stopped in CVS to get some cough medicine for my daughter.

Checked my phone walking in and thought it was a cruel internet joke. I kept scrolling and went to CNN and found out it was true and just completely came back to the truck like the president got shot. I thought I'd seen a ghost I was so shocked.

This is absolutely the worst day I've ever seen of anyone dying in the history of my life.

And the sheer way it happened there's just no words for a tragedy like that.
