The only elimination games where I remember Kobe played great in were game 5 vs the Thunder last year, game 6 vs the Suns back in 06 and he was decent in game 6 vs the Celtics in 2010. The Lakers usually fold and get blown out in elimination games. So those stats aren't surprising to me at all.

I remember the 2000 Finals when Kobe had 8 points in a close out game. I think Shaq had 40 the next to close the deal like a true Alpha dog would.
