In '03, '04, '06, '08, '11 those Elimination games weren't even close, his team was blown out. In '09 his team blew the Rockets out

Here's his numbers as a starter in elimination games that were not blowouts:

00' WCF, Game 7: 25 pts, 11 reb, 7 ast, .515 TS%, 4 blk (W)
'02 WCF, Game 6: 31 pts, 11 reb, 5 ast, .624 TS% (W)
'02 WCF, Game 7: 30 pts, 10 reb, 7 ast, .493 TS%, 2 stl (W)
'07 WCQF, Game 5: 34 pts, 4 reb, 1 ast, .471 TS% (L)
'10 Finals, Game 6: 26 pts, 11 reb, 3 ast, .589 TS%, 4 stl (W)
'10 Finals, Game 7: 23 pts, 15 reb, 2 ast, .376 TS% (W)
'12 WCQF, Game 7: 17 pts, 1 reb, 8 ast, .479 TS% (W)
'12 WCSF, Game 5: 42 pts, 5 reb, 0 ast, .582 TS%, 2 stl (L)

8 Games: 28.5 PPG/ 8.5 RPG/ 4.1 APG 43%(51%TS)

2006 1st Round, Game 7 - Lakers lost by 31

Halftime
Kobe - 21 points, 8 Made FGs

Kobe shot 50% for the game. Rest of his teammates 32%.

Odom - 35%
Smush - 31%
Kwame - 20%

08 Finals, Game 6 - The Lakers lost by 39.
Here is how Kobe started the Game.

End of 1st Quarter
Kobe - 11 points, 4 Made FGs
Rest of Lakers - 9 points, 1 MADE FG

And it all went downhill from the 2 Quarter
Halftime - Lakers down by 23
Kobe - 4 Made FGs
Rest of Lakers - 4 Made FGs

Kobe alone had the same amount of Made FGs as the rest of his teammates combined at Halftime. The worst part was they, like the rest of this series were WIDE OPEN:russ:

considering he played like hot piss for most of that series and his saving grace was finally making jumpers after being guarded like ronnie brewer. Excuse me if I dont wanna give him an abundance of credit:comeon:.

That's even worse. :heh:

So basically, when his back is against the wall he folds. :deadrose:

Not really. It's more like the game is over to the point where there's nothing he can do about it. You're TBM breh, but this blind hate for the sake of hate isn't wavy. We can't we just talk ball without all that extra shyt.....in half of those games Kobe has as many made FGs and points and is shooting a higher percentage than the rest of his team by half time.

You know he's not the one folding, but Imma let you have this because you still on championship high.......unless you're not down with Team Stannis :demonic:

kobe isn't in the discussion for what? kobe's proven everything...he can retire now and his legacy would easily be top 5 in nba history. lebron collected most of his stats on a cavs team where 99% of the offense went through him. if kobe was drafted to cleveland in the same circumstance, he woulda had some 40 ppg seasons under his belt. theres no discussion, kobe has won with less than lebron and has also won a lot more. lebron has the stats because he wasnt drafted to a stacked laker team and didnt have to play half his career as a 2nd option to the most dominant center of his era...but it's quite clear to any basketball enthusiast who, prime for prime, is the better of the 2.......and it's not even close.

I think youre one of the many that take all he does for granted then.

No other player has to effect the game in so many ways like he has to for his team to win. Defensively, Offensively, on the boards, its all on him for the most part.

When his offensive game is lacking, people act like he isnt shyt and not helping the team stick around or even take the lead.

I think this is the result of primarily great scorers like Kobe and Mike (although MJ did have strong defense, he was never asked to rebound like Bron).

People fail to analyze games deeply a lot of the time. Not saying you specifically but many posters on here, that are still unwilling to give him props.

And I do realize part of this is just the "stan wars" and nobody wants to give an inch either way(somehow giving Lebron props is taking away from Kobe now and vice versa) :manny:

Lebron's two are way more impressive than Kobe's two

impressive in what way? the fact that he ran to play with another franchise player because he cant stand pressure? or the fact that said player was already a finals mvp and champion before lebron even got there.....which one makes it more impressive? LOL
