No one's gonna read what Kobe is actually jealous about, which is what I've said numerous times on here. Duncan's had the most stable franchise in the league and one coach for his entire career. You could argue no player in league history has had a better situation than Duncan.
But Kobe is a major part of the reason why the Lakers havent been "stable" , tho.
  • Drama with Shaq
  • Hated by teammates
  • Phil Jackson himself said in his book that there was a time he hated Kobe so much he told Lakers management either they trade Kobe or he's out (i didnt read the book but heard from many that Phil said that in there)
So who can Kobe point the finger at?

And yet Phil came back for a second run with Kobe. Some hate. :mjpls:

Exactly what part of "there was a time" dont you understand?
Either way, Steve Kerr got his face beat in by MJ and still came back to play with him. Even your boy Kobe who was rumored to have gotten punched by Shaq came back for more

The Lakers haven't been able to scout and draft any talent to put around Kobe Bryant or they traded them unlike the job the Spurs have done for Tim Duncan....that's a major problem.

In 16 drafts since Kobe has been a Laker (can't include this season which would have made it 17) LOOK at what/whom they have drafted:

1997: Dejuan Wheat
1998: Sam Jacobsen, Ruben Patterson, Toby Bailey
1999: Devean George, John Celestand
2000: Mark Madsen
2001: No pick
2002: Chris Jeffries
2003: Brian Cook, Luke Walton
2004: Sasha Vujacic
2005: Andrew Bynum, Ronny Turiaf, Von Wafer
2006: Jordan Farmar, Cheikh Samb
2007: Jarvaris Crittenton, Sun Yue, Marc Gasol
2008: Joe Crawford
2009: Toney Douglas, Patrick Beverley
2010: Devin Ebanks, Derrick Caracter
2011: Darius Morris, Andrew Goudelock
2012: Robert Sacre
2013: Ryan Kelly

So...in 16 drafts, the best 3 players they have drafted and actually played for us are Andrew Bynum, Jordan Farmar, and Rueben Patterson:comeon:

Not exactly Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Kawhi Leonard:yeshrug:

I did say major part. Not the only reason :pachaha:

2005: Andrew Bynum, Ronny Turiaf, Von Wafer

2007: Jarvaris Crittenton, Sun Yue, Marc Gaso

Very solid drafts right there. I still like Turiaf. Wish the Heat could have kept him somehow instead of Joel ANthony

Duncan was Parker and Leonards sidekick the last 2 times he won a title:umad:

Last time Duncan led a team to the Championship was in 05:umad:

Duncan was still great in 2007, he was beastly defensively in that finals... 18 PPG, 12 REB, 4 AST 2 BLK, 1 STL isn't bum status :manny:

Even in 2013, he averaged 19 and 12

2014 was just a complete team effort where they demolished MIA, 15 and 10 isn't 25 and 12 but its not like they need anyone to get 20 PPG

Duncan is the reason for that stability. He's made sacrifices for the franchise to be stabilized. Kobe could've had the same thing but why be jealous. He won his way and Duncan won his way. All this losing is making Kobe weak. At the end if the of the day they both have the same amount of rings but Kobe has made done it his way and made more doing it.

If I had to choose which career is easily choose Kobe's over Duncan. Better bytch, better location, less sacrifice, and more money. Kobe is also more popular making him a bigger icon.

He made sacrifices on his paycheck. What big name stars have the Spurs got since Duncan took that paycut. Boris Diaw, Patty Mills??:mjlol:

This fake narrative that Duncan took less to win ships is BS. He took less money to save his owner from paying the luxury tax.
