I'd rather win 6 rings in the Kobe fashion rather than 3 rings and 3 MVPs. Sure if I'm Luc Longley and just there for the ride, I'd take the MVPs but rings always win out as long as you are the dominant player leading your team there.

4 of Kobe's 5 rings were titles he either led single-handedly or in a partnership with Shaq. Only year you could legit say Kobe was a Pippen-like sidekick was 2000. And even then he was more dominant offensively than Pippen while playing defense near Pippen's level.

I'd take Lebron's 09 MVP over Billups' 04 ring and Parker's 07 ring.
