surprised everyone mentioning X and not mentioning Hov...the whole album sounds like Vol. 1 Hov with the conversational pause flow...yeah X did it too but its more comparable to Jay to me because its done in the pocket in the talking tone. he def has a DMX influence tho...whoever was poppin 98-2000 thats who this sounds like and thats your top 2 names lol. he also sounds a lot like early 50 Cent...i wouldnt be surprised if Fif was writing or consulting on this album but Fif's ego is so high i feel like he woulda made this known years ago.
