anyone supporting kobe's comments needs to be expelled from the black community. they're some of the dumbest words ever uttered by a professional athlete. money obviously doesn't buy you intelligence. lebron james, the miami heat, and every other black person appalled by the zimmerman trial's outcome weren't standing up on behalf of martin because he was a black teen.

they were honoring the memory of trayvon because he was gunned down for being a black teen. that's the difference, k(t)obe. stupid house ******. :childplease:
Nah blacks don't need expulsion from the larger picture of what he said but for this situation the words were stupid. I got what he was saying and agree just not in this particular case and for everybody not just blacks

All he was trying to say was that he needed more information in the matter before he voiced any support in either direction because he's a public figure. He wasn't really following the rumors or gossip like most people were. He was waiting for the trial or for more information and that the Heat would've been wise to do the same

I especially dislike injustice when it comes to black people but I dislike injustice for all people period. As a public figure that's recognized all around the world like Kobe, to just come out and support something he's unfamiliar with could've been an unwise decision, especially something as sensitive as race

He was wrong for that comment, but at the same time, dude in the video is over exaggerating what he said. He never said he was a Zimmerman supporter.

kobe passing:childplease:

:lolbron::mjlol:

38th all-time in assists. :mjpls:

And furthermore, what Kobe said wasn't necessarily wrong. It was in regards to the Trayvon case, but in general ... we throw our support around without knowing the facts a lot. I'm all for supporting each other but if we're in the wrong we tend to overlook that, and I can't fully get behind that.

does he not know how to read? the information is readily available, along with transcripts of the phone conversation zimmerman had with the police before his confrontation with trayvon martin. kobe is talking out of his ass and you need to stop :cape: for kobe.

So because I can understand what he was saying meant I was saving him, huh

nikkas really need to check their comprehension levels. He said he was NOT following the story when it first broke
He was also saying that he was waiting until he had saw all the information from both sides before he commented on it :what:

I don't see anything wrong with it because it's called being smart for someone in his position... no matter how he worded it
