A lot of ya'lll are just hating to hate. This guy has had an incredible career and it's not surprising that there's a bit of trepidation about it coming to an end. I think it will probably take Kobe a year or 2, but I think he'll find his niche. He's just got to put himself out there and dabble with a few ventures to see where his passion lies. Some things that come to mind based on his skillset include: being an instructor at a fat camp, prison warden or youth minister.

He's too much of a protectionist to coach professionally, similar to how Peyton Manning won't be able to coach after he retires. I could see him opening a clinic for kids though, teaching them the game. I agree Africa would make sense.
