Kobe is no different than those complaining former NBA players--big up their era and talk down on the present league. How could anyone complain about the league is being soft when defense wasn't a priority in the 80s and 90s. You dudes are running your mouth and agreeing with Kobe who had his ass lit up in many occassion when handchecking exist

This I think is where we've lost so much in terms of quality of play. How many times do you see actual MOVES now? When people say player X is talented, they usually mean he can shoot or make a pass. Most guys now get at the rim strictly based on speed (and the fact that most of the time there's no one to defend the basket anyway) while before guys had to come up with moves to get by their defender and the help defense. Hardly anyone has actual moves now.
