Damn, Ray was only off by a year.

If Kobe doesn't see he needs 2-1/2 good players to be a legitimate playoff contender or win a championship in about a year or two he will be calling out to (Lakers owner) Jerry Buss that we need some help in here, or trade me. We'll all be saying we told you so when he says that."

How you gonna quote someone with the d-will face and then agree with them in the same post?
cats in here tryna play Jesus like he a scrub. anytime ray is on the court he HAS to be accounted for and with his style of play and elite physical conditioning as an athlete i can see him lasting longer in the league than Bryant and still being productive

Ray Allen is a role player....and was one for the Boston Celtics the year BEFORE going to the Heat. Kobe is a superstar player.:usure:

Kobe just put up 27 ppg on 46% from the field in his 17th season as the #1 focus of the defense. Ray Allen just up 10 ppg on 44% from the field in his 17th season as a 4th option on the Heat.:comeon:

He aint a scrub, but Ray Allen has NEVER been a superstar in the NBA. He's a lower tier All Star at his best.

And the only reason Ray Allen could last longer in the league than Kobe is because Kobe has significantly more miles on him from all those deep playoff runs.

You ever read a question thinking it'd be an easy answer until you really think about it? This is one of those questions. He gets in because Reggie Miller got in, he was the 3rd and 4th man on championship teams. He's a great shooter, but that said I don't think Reggie Miller should be in the HoF :manny:
