My whole thing is like why??? Why feel the need for that bar?? He really didn't have anyone in his ear say "naaa meek this ain't a good look". But importantly Kobe had a positive influence on alot of men and women, what made meek think this was ok? Like this man left behind a family in one of the most tragic scenarios we'll prolly see this generation, for a individual of that status. But Meek a true clown for this but better believe he would had done this with someone like Nipsey because of the "type" of folk Nip was affiliated with and type of possible consequence. Tina Turner is a legend to her and countless women in that age range...I wonder how they'd take that, would it be funny or an "oooh shyt" line like we think it is to her? Getting back to Kobe, I def thought it was out of bounds and stand by it. One year anniversary. A death the had an almost universal impact on the globe. Mainstream America has always been PC when it came to Hip Hop. They tried to ban albums from stores over the use of profanity. We had congress men and women who wanted to ban Hip Hop. They had public cd smashing parties in the streets. How many times was 2Pac having to defend his content? NWA? 2LiveCrew? The list goes on. Eminem was being pocketed to the point he had to perform on stage with Elton John as an olive branch for disparaging comments he made about gays.
