A true test of influence is who do your peers respect. Who do the players respect? And in that regard Kobe's influence is the vast. Nearly every basketball player recognizes Kobe's skill level and greatness and is influenced by it.

That's why you got athletes all over the place saying they got #MambaMentality. Ain't no high level athletes saying they got LeBron's mentality.

Kobe is far more influential to ATHLETES than anybody since Jordan. LeBron isn't in the same universe when it comes to that level of influence.
