I am not a Kobe fanboy

I agree that that is also "flopping"....but the flopping that the league will be fining are the guys who turn NO CONTACT into fouls. People who aren't touched and hit the floor grabbing their face like Fernandez, Bosh, etc. I don't think the league will be fining any flops that are even borderline. Just the most egregious offenses.
Obviously you didn't watch the video because what you said isn't true. It's not just the guys who flop without any contact that will be fined. Players who flop by exaggerating contact will also be subject to punishment. The problem is that the standard for what does and doesn't constitute a flop is inconsistent, unclear. Judging by the video you'll be able to flop to a certain extent, well who's going to decide the extent? Even in the examples that they should of plays that won't be defined as flops, you can clearly see guys exaggerating contact in an effort to deceive the refs into making a call. This is a dumb rule that will be apllied arbitrarily.

actually you need to rewatch the video again as well.

the flops in the nba video are clear flops. guys Over exaggerating contact to the point where they get an undeserved call or they are looking for an UNDESERVED call. the emphasis is on UNDESERVED.

in the last portion of the nba video. it shows what wont be called a flop. guys having no exaggeration of contact but there was actual contact that could have made the player fall or move in that direction.
AND when a guy takes a charge but he adds a little extra to it. meaning he was already in proper position for the charge. the guy did hit him in the numbers. but he then added a little more to get the ref to notice that said player is CHARGING him. see the difference. one guys is trying to bait the ref into a call that would not have occured even if the ref was looking. because that contact or lack of it. didnt cause you to move as you did. thats a FLOP.

non flops are when a person is selling a call that should've been called to begin with. its the equivalent of going "HEYYYY" when a guy hits you in mid air. the reality is You say HEY because you want the ref to see "hey ref, he just hit me."

vs a flopper who would go into the paint and just yell "HEYYYY" never ever being touched or brushed against. why? so they can get a BOGUS call they dont deserve. thats the differnece between the rule.

You should emphasize on "comprehension" because that's something that you clearly struggle with. The very first example shown in the video is one of Parker flopping while legitimately being fouled. According to the video, players can still be punished for acting or selling a deserved call.
